    Question Buds or insurance?

About to place order for 512 s24 ultra. The $150 credit towards two years of insurance is really attractive. I have other buds, but Samsung's are always nice to have as I still have the original beans.

Who plans to upgrade Note 20 Ultra to S24 Ultra

Just wondering what others were thinking about the new S24 Ultra and upgrading. I've been really happy with my Note 20 Ultra, but figure this is the last time I'll get a decent trade in on it. Battery life is still hanging in for me pretty well, but getting just over 3 years old now. Daily use...

Google is going to replace my 6P with a Pixel XL not in warranty!

Hate I am just now seeing this. Trying to decide if I should try for the warranty replacement, that then I can sell. Or just take the lower trade in rate they offer on the 6P. Have a 2 XL in hand, and was just about to send the other back. I tried getting something done on my issues back in...

How to ensure my Pixel 2 lasts 3-4+ years?

the biggest killer to phones is battery life degrading. I know some of it comes down to the amount of recharge cycles. I think that some comes down to luck. My 6P lost more than half it's useful battery life and wouldn't make it through the even half the day. Like you I wish they were modular...

price drop after freebies go away?

I would buy it out right. I don't want the bloatware Verizon puts on it, and the unlocked price is lower from Samsung than Verizon

price drop after freebies go away?

So, I haven't waited until after release for a phone in a while. I am due a new one. I am coming from a Nexus 6P. I have had Note 3 and Note 4. Loved both of them. Removable battery was one thing I enjoyed. I was planning on the LG V30. Wondered if the Note 8 would come down in price soon...

Google Nexus 6P People who have ordered from Huawei

Re: People who have ordered from Huawei Never got the free speaker code. I canceled and ordered from Google. Will have the phone Monday morning. And all of this was done Friday afternoon. I hated paying tax, but not a huge deal. I do think that Google messed up the tax system. They charge tax...

Google Nexus 6P People who have ordered from Huawei

Re: People who have ordered from Huawei Can't decide. I was late in October getting my order in. Now Google has it to ship by the 12th, probably sooner. And I could get nexus protect. But if I buy it through google. With protect and taxes, I am out an extra 147 dollars. Which hurts. I am...

    One handed

It will also be subjective to who asks the question. I have never worried about one handing a phablet. But I know other guys that can't on a 5.7 but a 5.5 they can. Posted via Android Central App

Google Nexus 6P People who have ordered from Huawei

Re: People who have ordered from Huawei If I get insurance, it will be through someone else. I know I can't get nexus protect. But square trade and others will. At this point though, I am looking at just self insuring. Posted via Android Central App

Google Nexus 6P People who have ordered from Huawei

Re: People who have ordered from Huawei Thanks for the input. I opted to order mine earlier this evening. I saved the tax, like others, and if I opt to get insurance that will go to helping to pay for it.

Will the Nexus 6P be sold through US carriers?

Nope. No one other than Google and huawei. Huawei does offer payments, but at a ridiculous 10% interest. And payments interest free if you do project fi. Posted via Android Central App

Google Nexus 6P People who have ordered from Huawei

Re: People who have ordered from Huawei Any reason to order from Google instead of huawei? I'm on the Google waitlist, but no idea when that would open to orders. I wanted frost, but it will be in a case so not a big deal I guess. Posted via Android Central App

Nexus 5X Owners: What phone are you coming from?

Re: What phone will you be leaving behind??? Note 3. I had higher hopes for the Note 5. While I have seen positive reviews, I really want vanilla android. I am just hopeful that I can just put a SIM in and go on Verizon. Maybe with them getting away from subsidized phones, they will be...

Now to wait out the Nexus 2015

At just shy of $700 dollars on Verizon, I will be waiting to see what else hits the market. I am sure the Nexus will be less than that. It's not as cheap as it once was, but I just don't see the upgrades from 4 to 5, to foot that premium. Posted via Android Central App

Now to wait out the Nexus 2015

Watched the keynote today. While the Note 5 is impressive, and numbers sound good, it's not as much a jump as I was hoping. I'm still sitting with my Note 3. And love the battery and SD card slot. I don't want to step down in battery size, even if things are less taxing on the battery. And...

Did the update yesterday and been smooth as can be today. I was having my battery drain and apps resetting more recently on kit kat. But since the update its faster, battery life is back to expected, and apps are more stable. Posted via Android Central App
