My phone got the update last night, unprovoked. Was just watching TV when a notification came up that an update was ready to install.
It's been running awesome since. Everything is consideribly faster and smoother.
I gave the sprint swype a whirl on my NS4G the last few days. "Swyping" is really fun and easy once you get the hang of it.. however using swype as a regular keyboard is pretty 'meh'. It's not that great of a keyboard.

I'm sorry, but I don't believe this. The promo very well could have listed tethering as a feature, but I highly doubt it said free.

No, it doesn't. Why do people feel entitled to free tethering because this phone is "pure google"?? The carrier gets to decide this, since it's ummm their network.
Google includes the software sure, but it's not their network...
I'm also a fan of phantom. Used it on previous phones and they were my first choice for my new Nexus. Their install is a breeze if you follow the instructions and after 2 days of drying it looks fantastic.
I put a Phantom Skinz on my NS4G a few days ago and it's awesome. One of the best skin brands out there. Very happy with the purchase.

One thing that's sort of annoying is how long the wifi radio takes to "kick in" if the phones been turned off for a while. If i'm on wifi, and I turn the phone on, sometimes i gotta wait 20-30 seconds before I can use the internet while the wifi reconnects. I get why it disconnects, but I wish...
