Can you partition the drive for photos and documents to keep them permanently in the even you need to reset the phone or is external backup the only option?

I bought ny S2 used and other than it used to randomly restart on its own, usualy after i set it down. I have never completed 3D mark as it freezes the screen and i have to do a hard reset. Anyone else experience this? Otherwise its a great unit. Quick as a bunny.

Original Note user just got an upgrade to a Note 4. THey offered to sync my contacts but I said I would do it. Now I am not getting all my contacts. Is there a simple way to do it? I tried Kies but Kies 3 wont work with the Note 1, and Original Kies wont work with Note 4.

I noticed that it seems to take several seconds for the screen to light up now after pressing the power button. Anyone else experiencing this? What could be the issue? I can still return this one for a few more days and get a new one.
