If you want the Edge Panel but don't want the visible bar, you can always set the Transparency of that bar to the maximum High so the bar is no longer visible. Then all you have to do is swipe where the bar should be at and the Edge Panel slides out. And to the OP, I have no issues setting...

FPS has been working great for me. When I grab my phone out of my pockets, I grab it with my finger touching the FPS. So it's already unlocked by the time I pull it out.

AUKEY Car Charger, Flush Fit Quick Charge 3.0

I tested 3 wall chargers and 2 car charger (all are Quick Charge 2.0) and they all show "Fast charging" for me on my Note 8. I'm using chargers from Aukey and Anker.

My lock screen shows the time horizontally. I think it's because I have my lock screen set to show notifications. Because if I disable notifications on the lock screen, the time is shown vertically.
