well the ringtone for calls works fine, and the notifications were working fine on comrom2.1 yea i checked to make sure i'm not on silent and i also turned up every volume possible and still no notification tone, but like i said it does vibrate.. i'm going to take it back to stock, start over...

it kinda does, i've never used yellow so i'm not sure if it has issues... however if you click on the link i gave you above, download that and push that with odin to your phone, you'll have red cwm 2.5.x.x.(i think) and i know it will do the big 3 wipe for you no problem.

i'm not too sure on what version of cwm it is, but i know there is one that hangs up on factory wipe... try flashing a diffrent cwm then do the 3 wipes... i believe the ones that are packaged with the OTB kernel is the hang up issue, so maybe try ...cmw-recovery-ALL-3-30-FIX

you don't need to have another phone and i did it when i wasn't stock, just call verizon and tell them to update the esn or do a "esn swap to a dummy phone then back to your phone" and it fixed my 3g issue, but not sure if this will fix the OTA issue.

someone correct me if i'm wrong but if you flash the CWM from the CM7 post BEFORE you flash CM7 then if you do the 3finger power up it will go into the blue cwm... HOWEVER if you just install like normal using your current cwm then when the rom is up you can't do the 3 finger power up...
