I haven't changed kernels. The one that comes with Decks is the same as CM7.

Yes - there's a notification widget where you can choose the buttons you want. It's not as elaborate as what is in MIUI (an entire screen of toggles), but I haven't had any problem picking 5-7 toggle buttons.

Well crap. That's what I get for not digging deeply enough. I started with Decks, but didn't find the gapps in his thread. Thanks - I'm playing with MIUI but will likely find the absence of 4G too limiting.

Thanks for the info. I'd seen conflicting things about Sprint VVM not working with GB, but obviously the last OTA has it. Do you use Google Voice, and if so do you manage your SMS with it solely?

I've seen some conflicting info around. Can we use Sprint's VVM with Deck, CM7, or MIUI? Yesterday I decided to switch to Google Voice, but I don't want it handling my SMS, and there's no obvious way of getting it to stop, so at this point I'm trying to figure out if I can go back to Sprint...
