    AT&T Phone

Not entirely true. They won't know it's a smartphone if it's a smartphone from Europe with an IMEI number that AT&T doesn't recognize.

    AT&T Phone

But see, I don't want any phones that AT&T offers. I was looking at unlocked versions, because I want a good smartphone without data plan. Would something like this work? Amazon.com: LG Optimus Chic E720 Black 3G WI-FI 5-Megapixel Touchscreen Android 2.2 GSM Unlocked Cell Phone: Cell Phones &...

    AT&T Phone

Jailbroken, data disabled, called AT&T told them she was on a different phone, changed APN settings, etc. I don't quite remember how I did it, but I got it working.

    AT&T Phone

^^ Haha, she won't mind Android or iOS, or anything really as long as she knows how to get into the Phone app, and the Messaging app. I can't get any of those phones/devices since they all require data plans.

    AT&T Phone

^^ My mom only uses the phone & text features. Just prefers the simplicity of smartphones. And I live with my parents, so I'm always there for troubleshooting/teaching. Can't keep her on her iPhone (1st gen, jailbroken), since it runs slow, and is getting old.

    AT&T Phone

Hey guys My mother needs a new phone. She doesn't have a dataplan right now, and doesn't need one. But, she also has an iPhone and has grown used to it, so something similar to an iPhone (Basically a smartphone) will be fine. So, I'm looking for which smartphone doesn't need a data plan... I...

    Input method switching from Swype?

If you clear your RAM it might switch the input back to default.

    Lets see some camera pictures!

Here's one I took in front of my school. Edited a bit just to mess with the contrast/brightness levels. This is the original. It doesn't look as 'washed out' on my phone, it looks better than the edited one on my phone. Why is Tinyimg blocked?

Special Launch price $149.99 for Skyrocket in select LTE markets?

Re: Special Launch price $149.99 for Skyrocket in select LTE mark ^^ It is if you're in a launch market. Did anybody manage to return a GS2 to Best Buy (Outside their 31 days return period)? If I can get it for $150 I'll return my GS2, and pick this up. But if not, then I'm keeping my GS2...

Special Launch price $149.99 for Skyrocket in select LTE markets?

Re: Special Launch price $149.99 for Skyrocket in select LTE mark ^^ You do need a new SIM. The data doesn't work if you use a regular SIM from AT&T, but phone calls work. In order to get data on a LTE phone you need an LTE SIM. And the LTE SIM put into a HSPA+ phone will result in HSPA+...

    tuen off 4g in at&t galaxy s2?

Yes, I know. I was confirming that. And I was saying that in a regular menu, you can choose to turn off ALL data instead of 4G/3G/2G. And I was saying that mine doesn't have the 4G/3G/2G option because I'm not running that custom ROM.

    tuen off 4g in at&t galaxy s2?

In that menu, you can choose to turn off all-data. Mine doesn't have a choice for 4G or 3G or 2G, but it does for internet-connectivity (Packet data).

    A wild Nexus Prime appears

For one, already a thread on it For two, it wasn't too soon. They renamed it as a result of that page. "get the latest on the Galaxy Nexus from Verizon."

    galaxy nexus hand time

So...the OP (Or whoever had the phone hands-on) said dual-flash. Samsung shows single flash. Samsung Galaxy Nexus leaks on official site, flashes Verizon affiliation -- Engadget means other specs also incorrect? Cuz everything so far (Except this) points to 1.2ghz OMAP

    galaxy nexus hand time

When I first read the OP/first page, I had a question. But upon reading the 15 pages of this thread, I forgot :/.... --Power button on side like Galaxy S's, or on top, like every other phone? --Charging port on bottom or side or top? -- NFC chip? (Ah, that was my question) If so, enabled...

G Nex and sim card question

As long as your SIM card is LTE (Which all Verizon phones with SIM cards are), and the Galaxy Nexus is also LTE, your SIM card will be fine. Everywhere that you get your phone from will give you a new SIM card for free if you ask, so it doesn't really matter. You can keep that old one, get a...

Why do you want ICS & Announcement Day Countdown Timer

^^^^ lol. I really wish they would release this on AT&T alongside Verizon....I'm pushing the return date on my GS2 for the Nexus..

    Tethering App

^^ Yupp. Shortly after finding out that the Tethering doesn't work, I rooted with Cognition. I've been using it since my Captivate, so yeah. Kudos to DesignGears.

Here are some. First two edited using the Picture Editor that came with the phone. I really like this app..

    Tethering App

Is there a way to tether without the appropriate plan? Maybe using an app, or (preferably) built in?
