I don't understand this...if it's cheaper to make, it should cost less. Also, I think you get spoiled =) having access to all these phones, but for the rest of us, it is way nicer/cheaper being off contract. I will never go back on contract and having a phone like the nexus 4 has been amazing...

All Android phones have a "task manager" by going to the applications portion of settings. The samsung task manager allows you to kill apps similar to the stock setup. This is not a Task killer as you can't set it up to automatically kill tasks without you manually doing it.:)

I said, No they did not. But I'm also on AT&T with a Captivate, so it might be different. I can honestly say that every time I've been to a Verizon store, I've seen task killers on all their demo phones too.
