LG V40, what would you want to see?

Eventual price cut. I would have bought the V30 so many times, but Verizon still sells it for $840.

    LG announces V35 for AT&T

Re: LG announces V35 for AT&T V30 is still $800 on AT&T and $840 on Verizon. I wouldn't count on those prices coming down soon. I honestly don't think LG wants to sell phones

LG V40, what would you want to see?

The plan is apparently to announce a half dozen phones that then never ever come out. I think the V30 is the last phone to actually become available

    Release date?

May 10 and you can jump on this thing for pre-order! I'm sure one of these months, it will be out.

    Best leaks yet.

If the V30s announcement is any indication, they will price them higher than Samsung

    LG setting itself to fail?

It can get worse. They can still overprice it, have fatal flaws in the camera, battery and/or screen (c'mon, people. Everyone knows this is what has to be flawless), and have a 3 month lag between announcing and release. As long as the gun is already pointed at the foot, the only question is...

Is it hard to replace bezel surrounding screen ?

I would call the battery replacement very straightforward. I paid about $30 including the adhesive to put the pack on. Best $30 I spent in a long time. Here's the link to the steps. The youtube of the teardown will tell you what you need to know. Right after these steps is where it starts to...

Phone shut off at 17% is the battery failing?

Exactly where I was at, before changing my battery. I' haven't had to charge mid-day since I swapped and I have pushed it with usage a few times. I actually kind of want the LG V30, but spending the $30 for a new battery is better than the $840 Verizon wants for the V30. I'm gonna push this...

Phone shut off at 17% is the battery failing?

I feel like there's enough evidence in this thread that this particular phone with these particular batteries will do a force-quit on Android any time the battery can't supply the current being requested. I'm guessing that the failing batteries can't supply the rate of battery current, and it is...

Phone shut off at 17% is the battery failing?

I replaced it myself. It's not so bad. If you've never worked inside a phone, I don't recommend it, but of the three repairs I've done, it was the easiest. I'm sure there's a shop near you that would let you do a "bring your own" battery repair. I bought this one...

After DT 2 (and previously Maxx and Bionic), what should be my next phone?

No SD slot + huge forehead/chin in a world of 90%+ screen coverage. Mostly no SD slot

Phone shut off at 17% is the battery failing?

Things got so bad that attempting to snap a picture Saturday, with a mere 67% batter, shut down my phone. Luckily, I had snagged a $25 battery off eBay. Everything is back to normal. Battery life is full day again and no more blackouts.

What are you going to do with 256GB storage?

I think it's more than simply not trusting that I will 100% always have data left on my plan or that data will be available every inch of the country I travel 24/7/365. It's also that we haven't reached a place where all the songs I like are available on any ONE plan. I have songs I like that...

Phone shut off at 17% is the battery failing?

I'm not sure I 100% agree with this diagnosis. My phone shuts off suddenly when battery is between 40 and 50%. Today, at 56%. When it does this, it won't start back up again until I plug it in. Trying to turn on, it shows me an empty battery with a red line at the bottom. After plugging in for a...

    Why, LG, why? (a rant)

Looked again. On Verizon's site, the V20 comes up before the V30!?!?

    Why, LG, why? (a rant)

Go to the Verizon website and search Smartphones. V30 is on page 3 of 3. Again, cheap LG phones for prepaid come up first

Several recent issues with Droid turbo 2: missing keyboard, closing apps, links not opening, etc.

+1 on the keyboard. I type exactly one letter and it closes. Once I bring it back up, it's up for good. Way more battery drain than before from Google Services.

How can I load my SD card from my computer?

OK, two things. I recently had my phone unplug during a file transfer and then got the same message as you. I got immediate access by plugging the cord into a different USB slot. Have you tried that? Also, my suggestion for your main problem would be to try reformatting the card in/with your...

    VR Videos?

OK all I know the DT2 is never going to be Daydream VR compaitble, but what if I only wanted to watch VR videos? Anyone have a device/app combo that's working for them?

What would it take for you to NOT upgrade to the pixel 2?

Lack of SD card slot will have me passing again. I need local storage, and every other manufacturer is able to handle that.
