Seems there's no way to bring the app up aside from unlocking the phone. You can make it one of the second screen shortcuts though, which makes opening it faster.

I do still have the Note 3. I'll check it again. But in the almost three years I had it I never took noticed audio/video sync issues in any streaming or stored video files I watched regardless of source or playback app. So I'm pretty sure it's a difference in how the V20 handles video. BTW...

I used to used Textra, but switched over the Messenger for awhile and installed a few of its sticker packs. Since then Textra has force-crashed whenever I access its emoji screen. So I guess I'm stuck on Messenger now LOL.

I think you're mistaken: the credit lasts as long as the installments, provided I don't change my plan.

Or Google Handwriting Input, which allows you to switch quickly back and forth between Gboard and handwriting input a la the Note phones.

Additionally if you're on a legacy plan or are an older customer, Sprint is also giving a $10/mo credit, bringing the monthly payment down to $6.50.

As mentioned earlier, WiMax will remain in service for at least a couple years. Where I live (PHL metro) LTE is still very very thin on the ground, and it's not expected to be widely deployed until late 2014 if I'm not mistaken. So I plan to keep my GS2 for at least another year. YMMV of...

Very, very happy with this update. It's like a new phone.

Don't forget BT dialing/voice search integration and apps to SD. Two very useful additions in my opinion.

I think an important question to be asked about all of this is, will Samsung learn anything from it? The Nexus S shows they can release and patch an unskinned Android device quickly and cleanly. Will they learn anything from this whole debacle with their customized handsets?

Shipped with Gingerbread and ALREADY got an OTA update to address the random SMS addressing issue. GRRRRR!
