I got mine at a corporate store on 10/25 - I had to ask and it wasn't on display yet, but no problems in ordering and walking out with it that day. They had 3 cases in stock as well. C-bus, OH.

FoxFi works fine after update to fix the update... have toggled it on and off without issues many times over the past few days.

Battery life still seems to deplete rapidly. 4g and even 3g signal seems better, but it 6 hours off the charger with minimal use and I'm at 37% - if anything, battery life is worse today!

On step #3 quoted in your post, don't let go of the buttons until you see the little blue text at the top. Letting go when it just vibrates will take you through the normal boot up process...which I did twice before keeping the buttons pressed for about 5 seconds longer the third time around!

Stock camera works fine for me - did you make sure the steady shot/no-shake option is enabled?
