Stock launcher won't do that , but any number of clock widgets are available for exactly that purpose.

In simpler terms, what the above poster was trying to say is that this is not possible in the default text app. Texting is meant to be for short messages, not ten sentence missives :) Your options are either to break your text into multiple messages, or try finding an alternate texting app...

Macrodroid seems to consider those to be two separate channels, maybe try that app?

Are they imported from somewhere else?

For the record, at some point over the last few days my wife apparently downloaded the 8.0 update. she hasn't said anything about it, which I take to mean there's been no obvious problems :-)

Try Macrodroid - you can set receiving a text as the trigger and Speak Text as the action.

Try using only GPS for location at that spot, see if the problem recurs. I'm guessing a bad cell tower or something, reporting incorrect location data.

Because it's a niche request with a limited number of users who'd a) want it and b) not be able to figure out how to properly install a new launcher?
