Does Knock off only work on lockscreen? If so, that would explain why it doesn't work anywhere with the phone unlocked. If it's supposed to, well....

At the very least you need to turn off iMessage on every iOS device you have connected to. If even say, an iPad has it on, any other iOS user (iPhone specifically in this case) will default to iMessage and in turn try to send it to whatever device you still have iOS activated on.

Flashed my friend's Nexus 7 (old model) with Clockwork and now whenever doing a full ROM backup, when you select reboot it warns that "root access may be lost". This has happened 6-7 times and each time everything has ended up being fine. Help?

- - - Updated - - - have you used AOKP? I never used my nexus 4 stock a single hour so i'm not sure what stock life is like and how the ROMs compare.

Yeah. I've tried the latest build of CM and it just didn't feel as smooth (or as long battery life) as AOKP which feels further along.

Trying to see if I have the correct band in my area for LTE on AT&T. Used these APN settings and am not able to get any data whatsoever. Do I need to have AT&T re-add an LTE data plan to my plan? I thought using a different APN would be good enough. Name: AT&T PTA APN: pta MMSC...

Go for it. Jump from One X to Nexus 4 will be nice thanks to 2x the RAM. Only downside is the camera is a serious step backwards. N4 camera is terrible.

As the title suggests, which ROM would you pick and why? I'm on day 2 of AOKP on my Nexus 4 and want to give each a few days to let things get nice and greased. For those of you that have used the other two ROMs, what are some benefits over AOKP (cons, too)?

Yeah. i've gone ahead and flashed a separate ROM independently from ROM manager. It's been a while since i've done it but it's like riding a bike, really. ;)

If I go ahead and change my plan away from my iPhone one instead of trying to make it work with iPhone data plan attached, is it necessary to change my APN from default?
