I just took my Z3C on a road trip from Chicago to Nashville and back for the last 2 days and my phone was either on LTE or Edge/GPRS 99% of the time. This was down I-65 through Indianapolis. My phone is definitely the D5803, however I am not sure if I am on the USA firmware / customization. This was bought through techno trading on Ebay. The docs and manuals were all in English and was the default language on the phone. I have a version from the Sony Store on order, I forgot to cancel it, not sure if it shipped yet, but I really won't be able to test on a trip like this again. I tried to manually search for T-Mobile 3G/4G on the phone but it was never showing up on the list of network choices. I didn't have a SIM card tool or I would have popped it in the iPhone 6 I had with me to see if I could get H+ in the areas where there was no LTE. Seems like there should or at least been T-Mobile 3G/4G on I-65 when there wasn't LTE...Anyone else seen similar issues?
