I have gone through a lengthy process with the Consumer Cellular rep attempting to move my Galaxy S21 from T Mobile. After jumping through the steps, I still could not make a call. She then tells me that T Mobile must have some secret code embedded therein that's preventing the unlocked phone from working and that my only solution is to purchase a new phone. Anybody else have this experience? What do I do to get this phone to work on ConCell ? Both are GSM systems. Something s eems fishy here.
THANKS FOR ANY HELP ANYONE CAN GIVE ME.

Did you speak with T-Mobile? If you have Account Takeover Protection activated, you cannot port your number to a new carrier without removing the Account Takeover Protection.

If not...disregard.

Welcome to AC!

Usually T-Mobile devices have a Device Unlock app to see if your phone is indeed SIM unlocked to use on other carriers or go to Settings and Connection should say there on newer T-Mobile Samsung phones, show some screenshots of those if you can please.
