Hi all!

This is a newbie question.

The Samsung Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch is supposed to come with the speedy 'Exynos' processor.

I went to do a benchmark Quadrant Standard (free version).

When I opened the app up it is saying its a 'ARMv7 Processor rev 1 (v71).

Hardware: SMDKC210

How do I know this is ready a 'Exynos' processor?

I tried a few different CPU apps,.that identified the processor, they all gave the same info.

Its that label 'ARMv7 Processor rev 1 (v71)' just another way of specifying a Exynos?

Thanks!

Rob

We know it is exynos from Samsung tech specs as well as tear down images. I'm not sure there is any benchmarks that show the specific processor.

Rlanza,

I get the same information regarding the proc when I run Quadrant. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that is the info for the Exynos processor. Based on the Samsung specs and a couple of tear downs I'm fairly confident with that.

The SMDKC210 is the CDMA version of the Exynos 4210.

I have a LG L7(P705) a CPU info utility says that it has an ARMV7 Processor rev1 (v7l) Hardware LGE MSM7x27a U0 as per the box and LG's official site this phone has 1 Ghz processsor and 512 ram but two different applications tell me that it has only 390 MB ram and one application even read this processor as an 503Mhz processor.

Even I have a felt it working a bit slow and hanging every now and then as compared to my last Samsung Galaxy Y. Am I duped by LG?
