These types of apps haven't been recommended in years because they operate counter to the way Android is designed to work. Apps in the background go dormant, using no energy. RAM should be left full for more efficient multitasking and less battery consumption. Empty RAM uses the same battery power as occupied RAM, but saves processing power of initializing apps from scratch.
