looking for notification ideas....

I was wondering if anyone had good ideas on pop up notifications or anything like that.

I get a text from my google calendar now when I have something planned, but looking for something better. I have stock everything....have tried tegra sms, go sms, handcent etc....but always revert back to stock.

How do you get your notifications and what do you use?

I totally agree! Zedge has everything =-) Also I've made many of my own using Ringdroid also available through the play store.

It's apparently not clear what it is the OP is looking for. Zedge has tens, maybe hundreds, of thousands of notification and ringtones, but I'm not sure if that's what he's asking for.

OP, what do you want? Different kinds of notifications from Google calendar? Different notification tones? Notifications from other apps? Give us more to go on, and we can probably help.

I was looking for notifications like iphone notification style. I use zedge for a variety of wallpapers and ringtones.

I really wasnt looking for links, more like what works for people. Yes for gmail notifications, SMS notifications, calendar things....I teach Health and PE do not have alot of time to look at my phone and little pop ups etc would be helpful.

Just so I can glance down and check.

The bubbles were ok, but kinda well not my style.

I appreciate the feedback and the "Mindreading"....just thought I could ask other S3 users their opinions on things.

I actually use quite a few of my old BlackBerry ones so that as soon as they go off I know exactly what they are. I have monks singing " Ahhh" for fb, a door knock for one of my instant messengers, birds chirping for my yahoo, and with the exception of messages (which i just used what came with the phone) all the rest are BB.
