NS4G occasionally gets hot and shuts down

This has happened often when I had the Microsoft Hotmail app installed. Since I deleted it weeks ago, I haven't had that problem -- until recently. I noticed the phone heating up, and about 10 minutes later the screen went black, and the phone won't restart until it cools down for a few minutes. I was on 3g sometimes switching to 4g automatically. This happened today. I noticed it heating up a week ago and I restarted it, which seemed to fix the problem, but this time I let it go to see what would happen.

Id start by leaving 4G off for a while. It could be overworking itself trying to grab a signal if you're in a weak area.
