Notifications drving me insane!

Every time I restart my device, and randomly during the day, I keep getting notifications asking me to Join Facebook and Join Dropbox, etc., etc.. I don't want to join these apps!!!! How do I stifle the notifications?

It sounds like there is an app that is pushing notifications to you. There is an app called AirPush it will tell you which app is pushing notifications to your device. It also has warnings about apps that have a lot of, or unusual, permissions. Take that with a grain of salt however. Meanwhile it will show the culprit for the notifications and you can decide what to do from there.

Go to application settings and force close those apps, clear data, and "Turn Off". Problem fixed. Any other app that you don't use like the Samsung apps you can turn off as well. I also turn off Google movies etc. Hope this works for you.
