4G in DC

I read the Sprint press release for the 4G launch in Sacramento. The press release estimates that DC will have 4g by the new year. Here's what I don't understand: I've been getting 4G in DC for months. Clear has been advertising (and providing) 4g service in DC for a while. What will be different in December when Sprint will be acknowledging the availability?

Good question, I've been wondering the same thing. I get full 4G in Northern VA too.

I guess the only difference will be that it's official.
