Motorola media link issue

Media link launches as soon as i connect my phone to the computer even when i dont need it, this is annoying. I have to wait for the ****ty software to startup before i can shut it down again.

Is there a setting somewhere which allows me to disable this autolaunch feature?

I tried looking but to no avail.

on your desktop in the taskbar (bottom right near the clock), right click on the Motorola helper icon, select "when this device connects", and then "Do Nothing".

oh, and remove your SD card when using media link. My atrix kept jumping between USB mass storage (SD card) and motorola phone portal USB mode when I had the SD card in the phone.
