how do I turn off notifications while in a call?

so when Im in a call, when I get something, email/google voice notifications, or anything else, the notifications sounds/vibrations still go off in my ear, even though im in a call!

how do i turn this off?

Did you get a response? I have the same question -- it is horribly annoying to have your ear buzzed off because you got some SPAM from your credit card company.

Settings/ Call Settings/ All Calls/ Alerts On Call/ OFF
