MMS unsupported media type

Hi guys having a little issue sending pics whenever I try to send one I get "Unsupported Media Type". It sends .jpeg and .png with no problems, but why if its .jpg it wont send, and also is there an app that could convert it?...Thanks

I'm having the same problem. It won't send my .jpg pictures, nor will it receive .jpg pictures. When sent a .jpg pic via text, I get a blank box with an exclamation point in it.

Are you sure you're not confusing the inability to send/receive MMS with Mobile data turned off with this particular file type being the issue? The camera takes pictures in jpg format and they send just fine on my phone.

Are you using the stock Messaging app?
