Re: CWM Recovery for Phoenix/Thrive
I flashed it using CWM and It gave both the kernel and rom a black screen, I don't know if it was a bad download or what. But my phones fixed now so it's fine.

Re: CWM Recovery for Phoenix/Thrive
I used the update.zip method first from CWM 5.2.8, gave me the blackscreen after reboot. I also tried fastboot method, but same result.
fastboot erase recovery
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot reboot
Luckily, I was able to load the old recovery

Re: CWM Recovery for Phoenix/Thrive
Guys, due to some private matters I won't be around a few days.
Today my wife received a mail about her job and at the moment we are a bit to upset about it. We need to take action on various things, so my mind isn't into development the next days.
Guess you also heard from Oathkeeper what happened earlier.
It's too much at this moment, sorry.
Will be back after all is taken care of, won't let you down.

Re: CWM Recovery for Phoenix/Thrive
Thanks,
I'm just doing it to help you out like other devs did for the Optimus One.
I started as Android noob, my only coding experience was php etc.
But as all coding follow the same rules it wasn't so hard to learn
And off course it's also fun

Re: CWM Recovery for Phoenix/Thrive
Use my touch version, very last post in the touch cwm thread. That has buttons at bottom, but you can still use the physical keys. It can flash anything.
Or use the one I attached to this post. Just made it. Should not have the same error as you stated, Rashed1997.Last edited by bownz; 07-12-2012 at 10:49 AM.
