Samsung S4 will not change lock screen

Okay, so I had my own customized pic for the lock screen then I decided to change it, the gallery froze when I chose one then the costume kid with balloons pic appeared, I rebooted the device and choose a pic and the operation was successful and complete but the lock screen stayed as the boy... I rebooted, removed the battery, changed to lock screen customization but the lock screen will stay as the boy.. I tried changing the pic through the gallery and the settings but neither worked. Please help!

Your customized picture might be a corrupted file. Try re-downloading it from wherever you made it. Also, try going into the task manager and closing all open apps. Chances are, that one of the apps open is your gallery, which isn't responding. Force closing it and re opening it might fix the glitches in it.
