Can the Thrill use the PS3 remote?

Hi guys. Im getting a new phone soon and I want an Android smartphone. I've come down to two choices, the PlayStation certified Experia Play or the new, AT&T LG Thrill 4G (1st AT&T 3D phone). Im leaning toward the 3D phone but I want to know if it can use a PS3 remote like other Android devices. Here's a link to see how it works.

So my question is, can the LG Thrill use PS3 remotes? If not I might get the Experia Play because it's like a PS controller.

Not sure about the PS3, but the wiimotes don't work. I think they use a similar system.
