Recently discovered our daughter checking out stuff on her phone that is waaaay beyond her emotional maturity level. Had a long talk with her and have blocked what we can via parental control apps and our router, (she is fully aware of what's been put in place and why) but we're having a hard time finding something that does everything we need it to. So ultimately there are holes in our strategy. She's a smart girl - if there are holes, she'll find them. Is there a good parental control app (aside from the ultimate control of just taking her phone - not an option right now) that actually does cover everything? Or maybe a key logger app or something similar to help us monitor those holes? There seem to be quite a few key logger apps out there and knowing very little about Android (sorry - iPhone user here) thought I'd ask here if there are any someone could recommend.

Disclaimer, I am not a parent.

Is she paying for the phone or are you? If you are, then taking it absolutely should be an option. You pay the bill, she's using it in a manner you don't approve of, it gets taken.

With that out of the way...

NetNanny, one of the original parental control apps on Windows, appears to have an Android app. PCMag also did an article on this topic in May - The Best Parental Control Apps for Your Phone of 2016 | PCMag.com
