Battery Stops charging at 93%

I bought a moto g last week. It is working fine but I noticed this weird battery issue. I charged my phone but it stopped at 97%. On asking customer care they asked to try a different charger which I did but now it stopped at 93%. Is this some battery problem and should I request for a handset exchange? Any help please.

Yes it's a battery issue I've had it before on my Samsung Galaxy Ring, and ZTE Awe. It doesn't think it can charge to 100% because it isn't utilizing the 3% which means it thinks it only has a 97%-93% compacity. So you need to get a replacement and if it isn't covered by warranty then get a Walmart protection plan they'll replace it. Hope this helps!!!

You could try letting it discharge until it turns off, then charging it without restarting till fully charged. This may retune its battery level readings.

I tried the discharging and recharging but it doesn't help
So I have ordered a replacement.
But if anyone has any other tricks to solve it then please help.

I have to send mine in because the battery goes from 100% to 95% in 5 minutes!! Then if I use it the battery depletes very quickly!!
