Best Buy Preorders?

Just got a call from my local best buy, READY FOR PICKUP!!

Where at? Don't suppose people that get the call could post what city and state you are in?

I ordered mine from BB.com for delivery and my order status page still says "in progress" calling them now...

Guys, I just got the call from Best Buy. I have a 2:00 apointment to get my new phone! It is the ST. Matthews BB in Louisville, KY...

Same thing with a status of backordered, the way this is going, we may not see it till at least Tuesday due to the holiday weekend....

If Round Rock, TX is getting them by lunch then there is hope that the rest of the Austin, TX area will be getting them as well. I'll be calling my sotre to check on status shortly! I'm so happy for those of you that have received notification to pick up your EVO! Congrats!

Nice, I could have pre-ordered there also but went with the Pflugerville store. Its weird that they have a truck scheduled around lunch. That sounds more like a Best Buy truck and not a UPS truck.

You're right, it does. Now I'm nervous and wondering if they DON'T know what their talking about...

They called back, they dont have a clue and I asked when do their trucks come, she said their big trucks come Tues. and Sat. and they do get some trucks on other days.... what a mess. congrats to those that got theirs today.

The EVO's aren't coming on their "big truck" as they are being delivered via UPS. They should have some coming in today for sure.

Just called the Buckhead store in Atlanta. Guy said for anyone who preordered before 5/21 he expected them to be available tomorrow (I preordered on 5/7). It was a strange conversation though so I might try calling back later to see if I get someone else.

Ditto here as well. I'm not too worried about waiting another 5 days though. I'm sure I'll have it by the end of the month and that's good enough for me to enjoy the last week with my og evo.

After holding for about 10 minutes got to a BB mobile person, Ernie. He said they don't have any information on when the phones will be arriving, and when they do, they will send pre-orders an email.

Looks like another weekend without a new phone.

Yours in??? Lakeline Mall Store(outside mall) is waiting on them, 34 coming in and I am number 26. I am guaranteed one as they are coming in with the name on the box for the 34 preorder names. They will call when ready to pick up and will hold for 72 hours.

I got the same BB call, but mine was a bit weird.

Long story short, the mobile rep told me that there was a possibility my trade in would not be accepted. Something about the state (DE), and local police. I have the slightest idea what he was talking about, but all I might get is the $50 gift card.

I told him I would pass if that was true, so he told me he would call back after he got more info on the whole trade in fiasco.

Let's see what happens, and I was number 7 on there 8 Evo LTE pre order list. :-[
