Blocking blocked message, message.

How do I disable or stop my Android system from giving me a notification that it has blocked a text message? This is a really stupid feature seeing how I didn't want a notification to begin with and that's why I blocked the message. Notifying me that there is a blocked message is absolutely defeating the point of blocking the message so I DON'T receive a notification.

Yes, it's a OnePlus 5T, running Android 9/Oxygen 9.0.6.

I'm using Messages 4.1.2

Not sure if it's the default SMS app or not.

I don't have my one plus 6 on me at moment but later at home can check .
But in the meantime , when this notification pops up that you blocked a message can you press it for option like to snooze or completely disregard?

I can't remember, I think the info button is the only one you can press, no other option is available.

I wonder if you took it out of dashboard if same would happen.

Welcome to the forums. What happens if you try this? Go to settings - apps & notifications - see all xxx apps - three dots top right - show system - select Dashboard - Notifications - Spam - Behaviour - select 'Show silently and minimise'.
