Brightness

Does anyone else find the brightness on the Tab S8 lacking? I believe I have all the settings correct, but find it difficult to see. I have had the tablet for almost a year.
Any thoughts?

Adaptive brightness off
Eye comfort shield off
Screen mode vivid
No Accessibility settings
White balance central
Anything I am missing?
