considering rooting my phone using kingo in the next 7 days. has anyone tried it?

The title is pretty much my question. I really want to root my phone but am nervous using programs involving many steps that I do not fully understand beyond what is described in steps . I found kingo. It's basically one step rooting. Anyone have experience with it? Opinions? Advice? Any will be appreciated. Thanks.
