Copy from S3 to SD via USB to go problem ?

Ok so I buy a USB to go cord awesome. I have a micro sd reader awesome. I hook up the micro sd via this set up and the phone recognizes it as USB drive A. I can see the files on the card. What I can't figure out how to do is copy files from the phone to this micro sd or vice versa. There is space on the card and I have USB debugging checked. What am I doing wrong guys? Oh yeah I have some avi files on the card and the phone says it cannot play those for whatever reason. Thanks for the help.

using the MyFiles app on your phone you can move files from internal to the external sd. only media though.the phone wont read apps from that

Ok but why can I not copy files either way from the phone to the micro sd via the usb to go or vice versa, any file not just media files i am talking documents etc.
