A new backup overwrites the previous one as Oxymoron says above right?

I said flashing a recovery overwrites your recovery. Not backups.

I only keep one or two backups at a time. As soon as I make a new one, I delete the previous one... unless it's of a different ROM.

Hey Guys,

Found this thread after getting frustrated with the blobs folder in CwM. I normally do as ^^^ Oxy says - do a nandroid & then delete the previous so I only tend to have one available unless I'm trying out a different ROM.

I try to keep my phone (nexus⁴) as clean as possible so upload music & photos etc.

My Titanium folder is around 350mb. I was under the impression that the CwM backup would be smaller due to the blobs folder. However my nandroid is 1.2gb & blob is 720mb - & this is what I don't understand ? Why so big ? Apart from ROM.zip & gapps + a few individual inverted apps there shouldn't be 1.2gb nandroid files - I thought the idea of the blobs folder would reduce the size ?
