I need to clear my Dialer Storage data, but the options are greyed out for some reason. I've looked around and still haven't found a solution other than rooting the phone. What's the cause for this option being disabled? Tried it in developer mode, still no luck.
If it matters, the reason I need to clear the data is because I'm having an issue where I originally texted a phone number without the area code. Since then I've added the proper number into my contacts, but I believe it still has the original number cached, because it tries to send texts to the bad number and just fails since it's only 7 digits.
I've tried deleting/remaking the contacts as well as clearing all my texts / phone logs. All my research has led me to Dialer Storage being the culprit, but I can't seem to clear it.
