So I've been actually experiencing just "ok" battery life, not even close to some of the SOT's you guys are getting. More like 7 hours if lucky. The one thing I noticed is that OneUI Home is always my largest battery drainer. Thoughts on how to fix that? I'm thinking about just doing a complete factory reset but that would be really annoying.

I love the battery on this phone if everything stays this way I'll have this phone for a while.

This is the 1st time in many years that almost everyone with a S23S phone is experiencing great battery life. I know the battery life is subjective for everyone. When I don't use my phone a lot i get 7-8 SOT over 1.5 to 2 days between charges.

I can definitely see keeping this phone if the battery life sustains for the 1st year.

I think you mean with Samsung S series in general but I've gotten decent battery life on most of them. Unfortunately I can kill batteries because of the way I use the devices. S23U is a battery beast so far though.

I'm in that phase again and might be using my jump program from T-Mobile in a few months after my wife gets her new iPhone later this month. Currently using the iPhone 14 Pro but also have the S22 Ultra I got last year from Samsung. I've noticed that throughout the day my iPhone 14 Pro drains a lot about the same as my S22 Ultra. How much of a difference if any did Samsung improve on battery life on the S23 Ultra vs the S22 Ultra?

You can go to apps list in settings then scroll down to One UI launcher clear it's data then force stop but you will have to reset your home screen back up again as it will erase it

To me from s22u to s23u battery wise is a big difference, I'm surprised with your iphone 14 pro with battery life I have the 14 pro max maybe why it's been great also on battery

I've seen a few videos on YouTube where the S23 Ultra is way better than the iPhone 14 Pro Max, well it should be because it's a newer phone...lol. But I'm not sure if any phone will be better than the iPhone 13 pro max, that battery would last me for days and days.

I can't compare my iphone 14 pro max to the s23u because I use the 14 pro max far less but standby and occasional use on 14 pro max is amazing, didn't own the 13 pro max I did the 13 pro and it was ok.

Going from N8 > N20U > S22U to S23U this is the first phone where out of the box I can say I noticed a difference in battery life after a couple of charge cycles. It's as noticeable to me as the speaker improvement from the S22U to S23U. I feel standby time on the S23U has been improved over past phones. I'm a 85% to 35-40% person as far as keeping my battery in this range and no problems getting 24 hours. So far, impressed with the noticeable improvement over last years. We'll see how it is when I go traveling.

How good do you consider a battery beast? How long can you go before you "have to charge your phone" vs you should charge your phone?
