16gb for me. I'm currently using less than half (thanks to Google Music and other cloud services), but I'm glad I didn't get the 8gb as I'm selling it in March when Blackberry 10 becomes available, and I reckon 16gb will be an easier sell.

yeah. I think i'll only use 10 GB max or 8 GB but the 8GB version only has 6 usuable space. A real bummer. google drive and box.com helps me a ton with my space, would've filled probably without it.

Google play music. All in the cloud. I have the 8 GB version and am very happy with it. All my pics are auto uploaded to Google +, all my music is on play music. I am keeping this phone for a while, and decided to ultimately save $50.

Yeah, 8gb is very doable. In the screenshot I posted above, I'm using under 5gb and I have a ton of apps, music (Google Music in the cloud), and pictures (in Google+/Picasa also in the cloud).

Google Drive or Box? Any thoughts on which is easier to use? Looks like box has a 50GB bonus if you log in from an LG phone.

Google drive is way easier if you are just using the application. Both the same if you are on an explorer that can access your cloud accounts (IE solid explorer and astro explorer)
Box app is HORRIBLE and you almost have to use an explorer to access it but anyways just use box, you get free 50 GB and you can store loads of stuff on there.

Google should have done with a 16GB & 32GB model, it would still have been a double steal at $299, $399 respectively.

Nexus 4 is cheap already and you are aiming 16 to be 300? I mean it'll be awesome and all but that's a bit unrealistic. I don't need a 32GB model anyways, got on the cloud.

Reason why I aimed at the $299,$399 price is b/c the price difference google & apple use is $100 per every next level. The iPhone 5 right now sells at $649=16GB, $749=32GB and $849=64GB in comparison Google would sell the N4 at $299=16GB and $399=32GB models.

I know not everyone needs so much space, it may not apply to everyone, but for me I prefer to store my movies, pictures and music on my local storage.

I got the 8GB -- first smart phone and I thought it'd be enough. I didn't even think about photos or video, or for that matter even music!!! My head was so far up my@rse!!! Already I am wishing I got 16 GB. Oh well, live and learn. Anybody out there reading this. Make sure you get the 16GB.

Considering each GB of flash storage costs a company around $0.40 per GB, consumers get ripped off big time on storage increases.

I just did a story on my site this week talking about this same subject. Apple charges consumers $300 to go from the 16GB iPad up to the new 128GB iPad when it only costs them around $45 for the additional 112GB.

Most people do not realize how much profit companies pull in just by swapping out a flash memory chip.

But to get back on topic, I went with a 16GB Nexus 4. I test too many apps and games to go with an 8GB model.
