dual SIM in Samsung galaxy j7 neo

This little blue 1 appears next to all of my messages. It looks like a sim card and will switch to a little 2 if I switch my SIM card into the other slot. Does anyone know how to get rid if it?

It sounds like the phone is working as intended. These icons allow you to determine which of the two SIM cards in your phone were used to make specific calls or send specific messages. I don't think the phone cares that you're only using one of the SIM slots.
