Factory reset

I purchased my shift with 2.2 but since upgraded to 2.3. I was wondering if I do a factory reset, my shift will go back to 2.2 or stay @ 2.3.

Factory reset will only erase your data and apps, basically just restore it to factory settings, it doesn't do anything to your actual os. As of right now there is no way to revert back to Froyo.
