I am having problems with the update, and was wondering if i should just factory reset my g3? I wanna go back to the previous update. I am tired of these problems on lollipop

It will fix most of them, but in my case it started up new ones. Not necessarily anything awful, but annoying. It did however improve the battery life.

Just gave in and did a factory reset on my G4, and it helped immensely...so far. Stopped the freezing, overheating, and greatly improved battery life.

What problems are you having ?
I have a G3, international, unlocked, non-carrier one that I'm using on AT&T.
It updated to Lollipop immediately, right out of the box, during the initial setup.
Had it several months now.
NO, absolutely no problems with it at all.
Snappy, no lag, no heat, good battery, etc.

Last night I reset my G3. Issues were:

Terrible WiFi connection
Bad 4G reception
Bad battery drain
Crazy lady when opening apps

Post reset (I reset twice for good measure) my phone is clean and running like a champ

Performing a factory reset / clearing cache more than once is a pointless exercise.

Hardly,

After the first reset my phone was horrible, freezing more than not and it was stuck in voice mate mode.

A second reset was mandatory in my case

Last week with the same usage I'd be near 40%

Much improved

That makes no sense given that no matter how many times you perform it, clearing the cache performing a factory reset follows exactly the same process.
