From iPhone XS to S10+, Samsung/Android has finally arrived.

I’m about to make the switch. Don’t know why, but I think I’m bored of iOS. Yes “it just works” but I’m starting to feel it’s a bit too clinical.

Looking forward to returning to Android.

I agree. I also got bored of iOS because apart from the odd new feature/widget and app icon redesign every few years I simply didn’t see the difference. With Android, there’s usually 2-3 cool new software features every year. Heck, I didn’t even notice my phone had Android Beam until a friend showed me the feature so he could quickly share some photos.

I like how iOS is easy to use but hate it for how non-customisable it is. Once I switched to Android I couldn’t return to Apple’s very expensive walled garden. Things like nearly-unlimited customisation options, many more useful features, more colourful yet respectable UIs and APKs are fantastic for people who like to get the most out of their phone’s software.
