Front camera doesn't work.

Basically, a few days ago, I started using the camera and tried to switch to the front one through Snapchat and it didn't let me. I tried to use it through the original Camera app and I didn't even have the option of the "selfie" or front camera. I reset the phone twice, deleted everything, restarted it several times and still nothing. I've tried to research the problem but found only people whose rear cam didn't work.

I've looked carefully at the front camera and it's not scratched or damaged, I've got no idea what happened.

Welcome to Android Central! Considering all you've done so far to troubleshoot, it's probably a hardware issue. The only thing I can suggest is to boot into Safe Mode and see if it works then. If it does, then some app you installed is causing the problem. You could open apps one by one, checking the front-facing camera after each one. Safe mode: HTC One (M8) | T-Mobile Support
