Went from October to November on S22U. After I did that I got the January security update. I'm sure that was just a coincidence?

Same as cyberdman. I manually checked Play update, and restarted phone to apply it. Then manually checked Security update, and the Jan 1 Security patch level update was downloaded and installed.
