galaxy tab2 10.1 cannot establish secure connection

[Android Central Question]

Galaxy Tab2 10.1 connects to modem but will not connect to any web sources. Message says cannot establish a secure connection. Still running android 4.0.4. Would like to updat os but with connection I dont know how.

Welcome to Android Central! It's because the device is very much outdated, so it's not compatible with modern security protocols on the web. There are no official system updates available that will bring it up to current standards. Get a more modern device.
