My wife's Nexus 5X has been having storage issues for a while. I discover that her Google App (like the main search app) says it has over 8 GB of user data stored. When I click to manage space it only gives me the option of deleting search data and a few other things which totals less than a few hundred MB.

What on earth could such 8+ GB of "Google user data" be? And how might I go about deleting it?

Any thoughts or suggestions are greatly appreciated!!!

Does she listen to a lot of podcasts through the Google app? I wonder if those may have built up over time.

Is there a Clear All Data in the system settings for the Google app? That's still far less than 8 GB?

When I click on the "Google" app info it gives an option to "manage space" but it only lists a small portion of the user data that can be managed. I don't have her phone in front of me, but it says 8 GB of user data, but clicking on Manage Space only shows a few hundred MB. I'll check later and post exact numbers and screenshots.
