Having issue of not being able to send texts since moving from an Iphone to Android

So, I seem to have the opposite problem to most people, since moving from Iphone to a Samsung S7....i followed all the instructions and disabled imessage and removed my phone from the icloud. However the issue i seem to have is that some of my texts aren't getting to my android friends since moving....and even then, some people are getting them and some are not. The only thing that might shed some light on the issue is that i know that one of my friends who now doesn't get my texts sent me a text while i was transfering data/contacts from my iphone to my samsung. Any advise?

Ensure your number has been fully removed from the iMessages. Other than that, contact your service provider. It sounds like a problem on that side if some people are getting your texts.
