Android Central Question
Hello everyone. I've had a HTC One M8 for years and used a pair of Bose Soundsport In-Ear headphones which allowed me to pause/play, skip forward, and skip backwards. The phone was running Adroid version 6.0. I had to get a new phone due to the fact that the screen started separating from the phone. I ended up with an HTC Desire One 530 as a gift that's currently which is running Android version 7.0. I tried the same headphones that I used with my old phone and still have the ability to pause/play but now instead of skipping forward and backwards through tracks the headphones only control the volume which they didn't do on the old phone.
I'm just wondering if anyone who knows more about technology than me(virtually anyone) this something that's related to the phone, the version of Android that's on the phone, or something else? Also is it something that I can change because I'd much rather have the ability to skip tracks than control the volume?
