Headphone symbol is displayed on screen without connecting the headphone how to remove that??

Symbol of headphones is displayed even if i donot connect the headphone and thus the speaker is not working neighter the mic works

Welcome to Android Central! Which device? Check the headphone jack for any debris. Use a can of compressed air to blow it out, or a damp toothpick to root around. Also, does this persist after a reboot?
