HELP! Hard Brick Recovery?

Let me cut to the chase: I messed up and tried to flash a Vibrant ROM over my girlfriend's GS4G. Now, I cannot enter download mode, recovery, USB won't recognize it, not lights/sounds, ANYTHING!

I'm fishing around the XDA forums, but I'm still new over there and cannot post without mod approval.

Is there ANYTHING I can do to try and reverse this? Or am I in need of a replacement phone and girlfriend?

OK, I think it was shot. We ended up going to T-Mobile, told them we did a software update via USB and the gal said, "yeah, you may have gotten a corrupt file. That'll happen." Then we got charged $20 for processing and she'll have a brand new phone by next week.
